Commercial Sales/Project Manager
Location: Sydney [Switchfire Pty Ltd]

Switchfire Pty seeks to expand its presence in Australia growing revenue and partnerships within existing content and developing and implementing new ideas and products across multiple territories and channels.

We seek a dynamic individual with the skill sets and dedication to facilitate the next phase of our growth. The ideal candidate will be involved in a broad range of activities relating to promotion, administration and technical marketing of Switchfire’s mobile products. The role also includes internal reporting and management of Switchfire’s B2B partners.

ROLE OVERVIEW

1) Daily tasks

a. Creation and execution of testing programmes

b. Management of Australian office - all administration matters

c. Liaison with UK staff to facilitate testing and qualification of services

d. Write weekly management reports

e. Liaise with SF staff to ensure services are tested, set up as requested and to agreed timelines

f. Manage advertising and promotional campaigns

2) Partners

a. Helping with first line of support for partners

b. Helping develop criteria for channel programmes and products

3) Competition

a. Searching and recording advertised details of competitive services

b. Testing services and tabulating experience

4) Advertising

a. Analysis of Switchfire advertising and comparing cost/revenue

b. Oversee the development of new campaigns across multiple channels - print, mobile and web

5) Product

a. Testing products

b. Logging anecdotal and defined criteria

c. Comparing user experience and billing with regulatory requirements

d. Validation of user experience

e. Accuracy of product features and billing as defined in (1)

f. Suggestions for improvement

The role would suit an individual with strong project management skills combined with commercial experience - a proven ability to effectively manage projects is essential. Experience in mobile marketing and sales would be a benefit, and an ability to grasp technical concepts is important. The successful candidate will be working with several third parties in the Network Communications and Product areas.

The individual will report to the Australian Director.

A self - motivated rapid learner and self-starter, the candidate will have the character and self-discipline to work autonomously in a challenging environment. They will be based at our office in Mount Street, N. Sydney.

Some out - of - hours work is expected, particularly when scoping and testing existing and new services.

Customer/tech support and administration person
Location: Based in Sydney

Based at Switchfire’s Australian subsidiary ‘Switchfire Pty’ we seek to fill an exciting and challenging role, which requires the ability to grasp both technical concepts and the commercial elements of mobile phone content functionality.

The role includes: testing mobile services, handsets and systems; billing, trouble shooting; liaising with partners, and analysing products (Competitive analysis, administration and general support to the country director and technical management).

The ideal person will need a logical and managed approach to projects, tenacity, good attention to detail, and a proven ability to complete tasks to defined timescales. There will be some requirement for out of hours work liaising with technical staff in the UK.
Mobile/telephone industry experience would be a distinct plus but not essential for this role. Persons currently studying computer technologies, communications, engineering or electronics to degree level,
will be considered.

The selected person may be expected to travel to the UK parent for training at head office in London. Excellent performance – related remuneration will be available for the successful candidate.
